CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 1.9.3

तं हैतम् अतिधन्वा शौनक उदरशाण्डिल्यायोक्त्वोवाच ।
यावत् त एनं प्रजायाम् उद्गीथं वेदिष्यन्ते परोवरीयो हैभ्यस् तावद् अस्मिंल् लोके जीवनं भविष्यति ॥

taṃ haitam atidhanvā śaunaka udaraśāṇḍilyāyoktvovāca ।
yāvat ta enaṃ prajāyām udgīthaṃ vediṣyante parovarīyo haibhyas tāvad asmiṃl loke jīvanaṃ bhaviṣyati ॥

Atidhanvan Saunaka, having taught this udgîtha to Udara-sândilya, said: 'As long as they will know in your family this udgîtha, their life in this world will be greater than great.
