CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 3.10.1

अथ यत् पञ्चमम् अमृतं तत् साध्या उपजीवन्ति ब्रह्मणा मुखेन ।
न वै देवा अश्नन्ति न पिबन्ति ।
एतद् एवामृतं दृष्ट्वा तृप्यन्ति ॥

atha yat pañcamam amṛtaṃ tat sādhyā upajīvanti brahmaṇā mukhena ।
na vai devā aśnanti na pibanti ।
etad evāmṛtaṃ dṛṣṭvā tṛpyanti ॥

On the fifth of these nectars the Sâdhyas live, with Brahman at their head. True, the Devas do not eat or drink, but they enjoy by seeing the nectar.
