अथ यत् तपो दानम् आर्जवम् अहिंसा सत्यवचनम् इति ता अस्य दक्षिणाः ॥
atha yat tapo dānam ārjavam ahiṃsā satyavacanam iti tā asya dakṣiṇāḥ ॥
Penance, liberality, righteousness, kindness, truthfulness, these form his Dakshinâs (gifts bestowed on priests, &c.)
