CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 5.21.1

अथ यां तृतीयां जुहुयात् तां जुहुयाद् अपानाय स्वाहेति ।
अपानस् तृप्यति ॥

atha yāṃ tṛtīyāṃ juhuyāt tāṃ juhuyād apānāya svāheti ।
apānas tṛpyati ॥

'And he who offers the third oblation, should offer it to Apâna (down-breathing), saying Svâhâ. Then Apâna is satisfied.
