CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 5.6.2

तस्मिन्न् एतस्मिन्न् अग्नौ देवा वर्षं जुह्वति ।
तस्या आहुतेर् अन्नं संभवति ॥

tasminn etasminn agnau devā varṣaṃ juhvati ।
tasyā āhuter annaṃ saṃbhavati ॥

'On that altar the Devas (prânas) offer rain. From that oblation rises food (corn, &c.)
