MUṆḌAKA UPANISHAD · 1.2.11

तपःश्रद्धे ये ह्युपवसन्त्यरण्ये
शान्ता विद्वांसो भैक्ष्यचर्यां चरन्तः ।
सूर्यद्वारेण ते विरजाः प्रयान्ति
यत्रामृतः स पुरुषो ह्यव्ययात्मा ॥ ११॥

tapaḥśraddhe ye hyupavasantyaraṇye
śāntā vidvāṃso bhaikṣyacaryāṃ carantaḥ ।
sūryadvāreṇa te virajāḥ prayānti
yatrāmṛtaḥ sa puruṣo hyavyayātmā ॥ 11॥

But they who in the forest follow after faith and selfdiscipline, calm and full of knowledge, living upon alms, cast from them the dust of their passions, and through the gate of the Sun they pass on there where is the Immortal, the Spirit, the Self undecaying and imperishable.
