तं जायोवाच ।
हन्त पत इम एव कुल्माषा इति ।
तान् खादित्वामुं यज्ञं विततम् एयाय ॥

taṃ jāyovāca ।
hanta pata ima eva kulmāṣā iti ।
tān khāditvāmuṃ yajñaṃ vitatam eyāya ॥

His wife said to him: 'Look, here are those beans of yours.' Having eaten them, he went to the sacrifice which was being performed.
