CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 2.19.1

लोम हिङ्कारः ।
त्वक् प्रस्तावः ।
मांसम् उद्गीथः ।
अस्थि प्रतिहारः ।
मज्जा निधनम् ।
एतद् यज्ञायज्ञीयम् अङ्गेषु प्रोतम् ॥

loma hiṅkāraḥ ।
tvak prastāvaḥ ।
māṃsam udgīthaḥ ।
asthi pratihāraḥ ।
majjā nidhanam ।
etad yajñāyajñīyam aṅgeṣu protam ॥

The hiṅkâra is hair, the prastâva skin, the udgîtha flesh, the pratihâra bone, the nidhana marrow. That is the Yagñâyagñîya Sâman, as interwoven in the members of the body.
