CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 5.1.13

अथ हैनं वाग् उवाच ।
यद् अहं वसिष्ठो ऽस्मि त्वं तद्वसिष्ठो ऽसीति ।
अथ हैनं चक्षुर् उवाच ।
यद् अहं प्रतिष्ठास्मि त्वं तत्प्रतिष्ठासीति ॥

atha hainaṃ vāg uvāca ।
yad ahaṃ vasiṣṭho ’smi tvaṃ tadvasiṣṭho ’sīti ।
atha hainaṃ cakṣur uvāca ।
yad ahaṃ pratiṣṭhāsmi tvaṃ tatpratiṣṭhāsīti ॥

Then the tongue said to him: 'If I am the richest, thou art the richest.' The eye said to him: 'If I am the firm rest, thou art the firm rest.'
