CHĀNDOGYA UPANISHAD · 5.24.5

यथेह क्षुधिता बाला मातरं पर्युपासते ।
एवं सर्वाणि भूतान्य् अग्निहोत्रम् उपासत ॥

yatheha kṣudhitā bālā mātaraṃ paryupāsate ।
evaṃ sarvāṇi bhūtāny agnihotram upāsata ॥

'As hungry children here on earth sit (expectantly) round their mother, so do all beings sit round the Agnihotra, yea, round the Agnihotra.'
